Return & Guarantee Policy

At American Ant Store, we are committed to providing healthy ants and high-quality supplies. Because we specialize in live organisms, our policies are a little different from traditional retail. Please read carefully before placing an order.


Live Insects (Ants & Colonies)

  • No Returns: We cannot accept returns of live insects or colonies.

  • Dead on Arrival (DOA): If your ants arrive dead, we will resend your order at no charge or issue store credit for a future order.

    • To qualify, you must email support@americanantstore.com within 2 hours of delivery.

    • Use the subject line: “DOA – [Your Order Number]” and include clear photo proof of the insects as received.

  • 1-Week Guarantee: All live ants are covered by a 7-day guarantee once introduced into their new home, provided all care requirements are properly followed.

    • This guarantee is void if ants are housed in a gel ant farm, dirt house, or any unsuitable setup.

    • Proof of setup may be requested to validate your claim.


Dry Goods (Non-Live Products)

  • Return Window: Dry goods (nests, feeders, accessories, etc.) may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

  • Condition: Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

  • Refunds: Approved returns will receive store credit only. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Store credit can be applied toward any future purchase.

  • Claims that do not meet these requirements may be denied.
